In just the last two weeks, Joe McMahon says someone has lit eight fires outside his Woodland home. McMahon says he's convinced the fires are related to an ongoing neighborhood dispute centering on the children.
It appears the trouble started when a neighbor called police complaining about McMahon's children. Since then, other neighbors say the argument has grown. McMahon's doormat was set on fire as were several other small items outside their home.
Woodland Police say they're aware of the disagreement but have not so far found enough evidence to bring charges. The McMahons say they hope mediation will help them solve the problem with the children and bring peace back to their neighborhood.
