Light rails are like small trains that run through city streets. Many people ride light rails to get places. Light rails help keep traffic down by allowing more people to leave their cars at home.

There is a need for one light rail to reach a certain area. Workers are beginning to make the tracks go there. To do this workers are going to add six miles onto the tracks.

Because light rails run through the streets, working on them can cause traffic problems. Traffic problems often frustrate people. Workers are going to try to finish the job as quickly as possible.

Workers say that they will finish the job in four days. It will be hard for some people to have to find other roads to drive on for a few days. When the job is done it should help make traffic problems much better.

The light rail helps many people. It takes them to work and around town. Hopefully by making the tracks longer more people will be able to use the light rail.
